The companions first meet one another at Talador's general store. They were sitting down to breakfast when Talador comes rushing out of the kitchen with some type of ooze/ slime covering his face and screaming wildly. The group quickly comes to his aid. After they get the thing off of him, Talador is weak and requires bed rest. He asks the group to retrieve several hard to find herbs that he needs so he can make potion to cure his ailment. He lends the group his team of dogs to help them in their quest. They set out in search of the herbs.

I have traveled far around with Talador and he had more influence on me than my own dad. An unknown creature assaulted and near killed him. Thankfully he maintained excellent reputation and friendships as his patrons came rushing to his aid; all men, and gnome, of high caliber character and courage, I assure you. Murphy and his hound were a pleasure to have trekked around with. Gunther never tired for an instance with ever step on rough ground and with every swing of his blade. And Vornyn would always save the day with his healing ways; he even speaks with animals, which any Ranger would like. The party as a whole has respect for all that is natural and good, it seems, and such core values will be needed to trek another 6 months across such rugged land!
ReplyDeleteWith new found horses and Talador's prized dog team, we should have most excellent adventure.
